Hello All, A quick post to introduce myself on this forum. I am a QPR fan of close to 40 years and was brought up in the Kensal Rise area with Queens Park as the local park/playground. I was extremely lucky to watch most of the home and London based games of the glorious 75/76 season, and as a consequence have been hooked on our ups and downs ever since (unfortunately mainly downs since then). For the last twenty years, I am resident in Poland and only follow the R's via the web or the odd televised match. I attended last Saturday's match, which was probably not the best of choices, as my first live match at LR for over 10 years. Despite the goaless draw, I really enjoyed the match watching from the back of the Loft, as well as the pre-match drinks in the C&S. Although I have followed the LFW site for many years, I also have aspirations to follow this site. I look forward to conversing with you in this virtual world. Cheers!
Hi ski, welcome aboard. It was great meeting you on Saturday, shame about the game. I'm looking forward to your contributions on here.
Greetings brother R. Great memories of following England in Poland during the 90's and we always got a very warm welcome. Especially at Saski Park in '99
welcome fella if i can say that on here and also my mum lives in droop street so now the Queens park area very well
A bit ahead of your time being over here in the 70s, not being racist by the way. Welcome on board QPR SKI.
Good to see you here mate. I'm sorry we couldn't lay on a win for you last Saturday, maybe next time. I bet you didn't expect to be talking to a QPR supporter from Peru before the match. We're here, we're there ......
