Evenin Tottenham Fans, Just going through the latest odds on bet365, and see the odds for a Spurs win is 7/10, or 21/10 to win to nil, whilst Norwich are 4/1 for the victory. What are your thoughts on tonights match, be nice to keep pace with the top two, and pull away from Chelski... Well done on your performance so far, hope you keep it up
Tyvm we need to win and most of us think we will, which ofcourse means we won't.With all our rivals dropping pts this could really set us on our way. I've gone for a 3-1.
Wouldn't be surprised if we drew as Norwich are playing well but I hope we go for the win. Ellandback, weren't you a bit of a twat on old BBC 606?
Can't see Norwich scoring tbh, I reckon a 2-0 to the Spurs, a safe performance, but nothing too risky...
Vid, I was on the old 606 site, but there were two nicks similar to Ellandback, very similar in fact. I never ventured far from the Leeds board unless it was Millwall, Cardiff or the manure...
Fair enough, I noted a far more amiable tone to your post and thought I'd check Injury wise we have Dawson, Huddlestone, Defoe and King out with Modric and VDV slight doubts but expected to start All in all, we're quite well placed for injuries by our standards.
Not too bad then. You've got a team to be envious of. Looks like we will have to (try) to rely on youth coming through the ranks, and keeping hold of em, shame we couldn't keep hold of Lennon, Milner, Rose etc...
Yeah, I remember seeing the U17 Euros some years ago and Wellbeck and Rose were our best players. Was well pleased that Rose signed for us about a year later. The finances are steadier at Leeds now, aren't they? I'm sure when you go up you'll stay up, you've got a fantastic support too so I'm not expecting a long wait until you return to the Premiership.
Just hope big Ken, spends some of his money, we sold Delph to Villa, Schmeichel to lesta, Kilkenny to brizzle, Gradel to St Etienne and many more outgoings, and not spend more then a few hundred thousand, whereas there is 10m there...
Chelsea drew,Arsenal drew and so probably will we tonight. We have the chance to go 4 points clear but whether we'll take that chance I'm a little doubtful. A draw or a CLOSE Spurs win but I'm inclined towards the former.
After watching Wimbledon v villa last night enough to put you off football for life , then Spurs come on and play football the way it is meant to be played, you most be so proud of your team , man of the match , you've got about seven of them out there. Hope my team Celtic play like you tomorrow , one thing for sure Rangers wont.
