genuine question. Has Neil Lennon turned the corner? I just remember a lot of fans turning against him after his first couple of seasons. However, as with Scott Brown who has also won over the fans, it appears Neil is getting it right. Would this sum up the feeling among the majority of the Celtic support?
Benny I don't have the time to trawl through your posts just to find out what comments you've spouted about Neil Lennon in the last two years and I don't have the patience to investigate your claim that this is a genuine post. Being a good natured Tim (though some might say gullible) I'd like to welcome you to the Celtic board Oh, and we're all Neil Lennon
When he was first appointed as Celtic manager (full time) I thought it was a terrible mistake. I still feel he blew a chance to win the league againts "Walter"... However, he has now built a really strong squad and also has the chance to have a go at Europe (fingers crossed)... His signing policy, in the main, has paid off very well and I like his ideas for how he sees Celtic playing. I'm now a big fan of "Lenny" as Celtic manager!
Big day in Scottish football today , Scottish cup draw 2pm all the minnows come in at this stage , wonder who Sevco will get !!!
Pass marks all round for Lennon from me. A lot of people expect young managers to work miracles, which isn't going to happen. The two away results in Europe this year will give the team and Lennon a huge lift, hopefully. The one criticism I have would be speaking too much about his own players in the media. It's enough to say they had a good game and leave it at that. The Scottish media vultures hang about an OF manager waiting to pick the bones.
I was all for Lennon getting the boot in Oct last year. A quite woeful start to last season. But he turned it around. And if he gets us to the CL this season, his job is (rightly) safe for the foreseeable.
Celtic should really be aiming to win the CL this season. Absolutely amazing team and if they dont at least get to the final then it will be disastrous and Lennon will have to go. Simple as that really. The huge amounts of money that they have spent surely has to pay off at some point.
He's been strangely judicious the last few days AP. I thought folk like ER got grumpier as the entered pensionerhood?
It seems a strange post from someone who claims to be a Celtic Board Virgin, especially since Neil Lennon has only been Celtic coach for two seasons. Previously he was temporary coach for a couple of months. I think your future posts will be examined carefully to see are you genuine or not.
That might not prove anything. You've been on here over a year and everyone is still scratching their nappers wondering what your angle might be.
