Need to get someone in for a bit of competition for the No.1 spot, maybe another defender? We have already accumulated quite a few more striking and midfield options. Lambert has done a good job of getting players in early without any big egos to stink out the place! On the subject of how we will do...I believe we may surprise a few and I'm very hopeful we can survive...maybe even with a little comfort???

if your need defenders i'll drop mccartney, nosworthy and killgallon off on my pedal bike for you. GK is a tough one nowadays as so many young keepers get ruined by a single high profile gaff and dont recover (scott carson). What do you think of Westwood who we just signed? i hope you lot survive id much rather see the likes of wigan and stoke drop before you

Thanks for the welcome skorimilov- I'm looking fwd to Sunderland coming to Carrow Rd- Steve Bruce is a legend and is building what looks like a very strong team! I agree with MintCanary that we need another GK and a first choice CB.

Lambert has said he will sign 7 players this summer and has already signed 6. That probably means there is a CB coming in and that cover for GK will have to wait till January.

Luke Chambers from Nottingham Forest is by all accounts one of the best CBs outside of the premiership and I would like to see him coming in. We have been linked with Ilunga from West Ham- I don't know much about him but he doesn't sound like the sort of player that will really strengthen our back line.

having seen him a few times id stear well clear of ilunga not the kind of personality you need when backs are against the wall (i would know being a sunderland fan). an away day a carrow road has been in my mind as the promoted teams always have great home support making a cracking atmosphere.
