Our board has been invaded by Watford fans saying we told you so. Teams lose their managers when they do poorly or get relegated. We lose ours when we do well. It's the aftermath that bother's me. Pascoe the assistant is rumoured to be going too as well as a medical officer. Watch out for the exodus of players. Still, we got through it before and we'll do so again. If the football looks as good next season no one can say it was because of Rodgers.
Hi Swan, I've heard good things about Parkinson at Bradford, young manager who was seen as potential England standard a few years ago Surely the Swans Board will say that they will negotiate a transfer fee for Rodgers as long as RS (Red Hite....sorry I have a good mate who's a Toffee ) agree NOT to poach any players? That's quite normal. Also I thought the players contracts were with Swansea NOT Rodgers? Most of last season's squad were at the club before Rodgers joined weren't they? so it's not Rodgers they owe a debt to it's Swansea Would you take Souza back? If he's available? not sure where he is at present?

Yes! Deal was agreed B4 weekend subject to medical, he's been on loan at Swansea since January so their medical team know about him! Yet deal has still not been agreed.... now I wonder why not? Well ....... Talksport say Brendan wants Gylfi with him at RS
Only rumours at present but he may go for Sinclair and Joe Allen. If he wants Siggy the deal will have to be re-negotiated, Swans agreed 6.8 million if it's Liverpool no doubt Hoffenheim will want the 10 mill they valued him at. Incredibly all 3 promoted clubs stayed up this year, now with Norwich and the Lambert saga all three will have lost their managers who got them there. Sousa has just won the league in Hungary with someone. Taking him back would be playing tikka tak in our own penalty area
Sad to hear that not only will you be losing Rodgers, but possibly Gylfi, Allen (top, top player) and Sinclair. Always annoying when managers go back and raid clubs.
Some say the style of play goes as far back as Kenny Jackett. Roberto Martinez enforced the continental passing style but defence but suspect. Sousa came in and solved that but the rest of the game was a snorefest! Rodgers evened it up and improved it all round. Swansea need another continental manager who can go a stage further, in other words Barcelona on a budget of threepence halfpenny! Gus Poyet is favourite at the moment but if there's anyway of getting Roberto back they should jump at the chance.
