Would be a shame to lost Heidar. Always liked him. Great target man. Good luck.

I love Heidar ( I love his wife more ), he was brilliant for us in the last one and a half seasons. I think he surprised us all. He hasn't featured for us since coming on in the last ten minutes in the MK Dons FA Cup replay, that was nearly eight months ago. Alas, age gets to us all, cheers Heidar, good luck mate.

Great servant to our club, always sad when time is called on one of the "good guys". Instrumental in both promoting us and keeping us up last year, without his goals we would have been cut adrift before Christmas. Still if you all excuse me, I'll wait on the offish before a final goodbye is waved.

Have we seen a better penalty taker at LR since the days of Clive Wilson?

It's only the Mail guys. There is no guarantee that he's going. If it is it's bad news though.

Think we should keep HH for another season
Because if Zamora gets injured we will need a target man and HH is the best option

It was on several news sites when I saw it, I just picked one to make it easier. West London news ran the story also and they're pretty good..

Funny how things change. This time two years ago no-one thought he was good enough for our championship mid table side, how times change eh!

Been a good servant, and yes a great penalty taker, but i think maybe age has caught up with him. 35 this month andhe probably wants to play at this stage of his career.

    thanks HH.

Would be heart broken if HH leaves!! He's been one of my favourite players of the last few years.

He's one of those players that are not flashy whatsoever and he doesn't seem to get the credit he deserves. He was our joint top scorer last season even though he missed a lot of the campaign due to injury. I recon he could still be great for us but bigger names have stepped in now so that's that.

Because he was injured, he didn't get to make the same impact on Mark Hughes that Mackie was able to.

Farmed out to Watford because he wasn't good enough for us!! Would be gutted to see him leave, especially to the Blue Birds/Red Dragons or what ever they call themselves this week!!

I'm fully appreciative of the sentiment, but realistically, HH wouldn't get a game for us this season unless we had a disastrous run of injuries. It's doubtful he'd even get on the bench, except for league cup games.

If he has the chance of first team football, even for Cardiff, then he should go with our thanks and best wishes.

I agree, but Cardiff he deserves a better swansong than that doesn't he? I wouldn't want to send no pulse there. Terribly sad way to bow out

Insane if true, hes a very good backup and his only downside are the injuries and that should be ok as he wont play every game like he had to before BZ arrived.

Id say we need to add another target man, not leave us with just Zamora.

Apparently its a free transfer as well. A great servernt but I agree it is very unlikely he would play this season. I think Betty is going to stay as our sub forward. So we will have Cisse, Zamora, Johnson, Bothroyd and also Taraabt and Mackie could do a job. Hopefully there is some truth in the Defoe rumours so we get get rid of Bothroyd as well.

But all those players have different qualities and style of play. You can't compare them or swap them without swapping tactics.

For example, if BZ comes off, you can stick Defoe, Johnson, Taarabt or Mackie on to do the same job. You'd either put HH or Bothroyd on, unless you change tactics.

I think you meant "cant". HH is 10 times the player JB is though. Bothroyd cant even win a header.

so youd go with 1 target man and 5 or 6 non target men. We would be screwed if Zamora then got injured.
