Following the signings of Velikonja and Helguson I've done an article about their strengths and what to expect from the qualities they bring to the side, hopefully they can form a classic 'little and large' style partnership even though Helguson is under 6 ft he is a quality target man that spearheaded the attack of QPR's promoted team :)

Personally i think it is a great bit of business by Cardiff City. I know as a Hull City fan Helguson was a player we was looking at before we decided to splash millions on a German no-one has heard of, but thats another story. Helguson is proven at this level as a goalscorer, he scored in the Premier League for QPR last year. Yet looking at his record, its clear he performs at his best when he plays regularly, so for your sake i hope Malky sees him as a starter.

Thats the view of a neutral, good luck for the up coming season <ok>

So where does that leave Mason then?

Sorry, I don't agree, Mason will be the starter I feel, the other striker will need to form a partnership with him. Just a personal feeling

I can imagine there being lots of interchanging in the season without a 1st choice partnership. Mason just off Heider or slightly wider in an attacking role in a midfield 5. Lots of possible combinations. Last season MM stuck with a very similar team week after week. I'm hoping to see a few more changes rung this time round.

Yes, we should have enough to be able to rotate and ensure we keep a high standard of play whilst also being able to adapt to different styles.

It'll be good to be in a position where we can rotate our players, such a small squad last season I didn't need to look at the team sheet to know who was going to be playing. Shouldn't run out of steam at the end of the season either.
