Good for you, Heidi. If anyone deserved one, it was you. Btw, were the 2nd & 3rd ballots advertised, or done in secret? I had no idea about either.
No I don't think they advertised them but just started ringing people up. I knew they were rining people for hours before we got a phone call but some who missed the call missed out on tickets as they moved on to the next one. Someone got tickets yesterday too.
Just managed to get to get round to reading your article, Heidi. I think you're the first person who's mentioned Pablo trying so hard to score. Funnily enough, Mrs WJ said the same thing during the game, but my take was that we were screwing up our game too often, just to try to get that extra pass into Pablo, instead of doing the correct footballing thing. I don't think I'm far wrong. OK, hands up, it wasn't that civil - I was spitting froth at the telly, shouting at them to get on with the game. I have no shame.
I thought the same, we probably would've chosen different options in the final third if we weren't trying to set him up, and he may have created one or two chances for others if he wasn't trying desperately to get one himself, but I guess we can cut the old fella some slack in his final game I was actually really pissed off about the goal we conceded, even though the game was already won and there was nothing at stake. No idea why but for some reason it completely took the gloss off it
It’s typical that we made a mistake when so much in charge. It’s a good job we weren’t leading 5-0 and that cost us a European place!!!
