After a 4.10am departure to get to Leeds for the coach at 5am, we had a good run to London where I slept most of the way there. I was reminded of Craven Cottage being a bogey ground for us by the steward who let me into the ground. She told me we wouldn’t win today and despite me hoping for the opposite, it turned out to be the case. After their second goal went in, I felt totally resigned to our fate and I couldn’t see where any more points were coming from. At the end of the game, I felt sick to the pit of my stomach at the realisation of how far we have fallen in just over a year. Sleeping on things will help of course, but by Tuesday’s game I expect to have some hope again.

Team: Meslier, Cooper, Wöber, Kristensen, Koch, Aaronson, McKennie, Harrison, Summerville, Rodrigo, Roca.

Subs: Bamford for Rodrigo (65), Sinisterra for Aaronson (65), Gnonto for Harrison (80), Forshaw for McKennie (80).

Subs not used: Robles, Ayling, Firpo, Rutter, Struijk.

Leeds lost the game 2-1 with Palhinha scoring an own goal for Leeds (79).

    Attendance: 22,905, 2,299 Leeds fans.

    Referee: Peter Bankes.

    Booked: McKennie, Cooper, Wöber, Roca.

Wanting a response from Leeds after the last two capitulations was what was needed today, however hard it was going to be. Meslier made a great save early on to keep Fulham out, but it would have been offside and was called into action to make another one. He had to be on his toes a few times as Fulham attacked us before their keeper made a save from Roca. On the whole chances were few and far between as went in level at half time.

With no changes made at half time, Leeds went behind and despite Meslier making a save, the rebound went straight to a Fulham player to score. They rattled the crossbar from another free kick before Fulham made it two when they gained a lot of space on the left-hand side of the pitch and at that point I was resigned to our fate. I couldn’t see where we would get any further points from. With chants of Orta out and sack the board from the Leeds fans plus a rendition of Bielsa, I feel I wasn’t the only one resigned to our fate at that time. Roca had a shot saved by their keeper but could not beat the first man when we had three corners in a row which riled a lot of our fans. We did pull one back with an own goal after good work from Summerville then Cooper after Bamford stuck a leg out. Meslier made another great save to keep them from scoring a third from another free kick and with eight minutes of injury time, I was hoping we would get an equaliser, but it wasn’t to be.

With boos from the away end at full time, we have got to hope that somehow, we get a result on Tuesday against Leicester because otherwise the terraces will turn very toxic indeed. See you there, LUFC – Marching on Together!

What a difference between fans attitude and players. Heading for London at 4am while they live it up in top quality hotels and have their little Monte Carlo breaks after defeats. Time the players were stuck on the coaches with you lot and learn about the real Leeds united

That's the sad thing. I'd put the old heads in as they have the passion still and use the kids.

I can only see Wolves and Hull City playing in those colours as they are not Leeds plus we need to ditch it for the rest of the season as it hasn't brought us any luck. I've asked not to be placed in the West Stand for the last two games as we have lost 5-1 and 6-1 whilst I'm in there. I don't want a repeat of those scores on Tuesday either as sadly I'm still in the West Stand for that game.
