Heed 3-3 Lincoln

Looked like a lively game. Anyone gan to see the Heed this season?

 

Gonna get to a game or two hopefully.

 

Might have a gander when they play in the northwest, though I can't say I follow them closely. They've got Tom Heardman on loan from us now, hope he gets some game time.

 

I've been to a few games, Barnet look as though they are running away with the league so the play-offs is looking like the best we'll do this season.

 

They have a w**ker as manager but he is a good one for that level. If he gets them in the playoffs this season he will probably get them promoted.

 

The one and only Gary Mills - European Cup Winner as a teenager. Was at York for a couple of seasons including the two Wembley wins in the FA Trophy and Conference play off. Certainly not missed after he left due to his playing style and poor results in Div 2. As you say good for Conference level but any higher jury is out.

 

I don't get how Gary Mills is a ****er.
Doing a good job and well thought of by Heed Fans.
The team plays decent football for Conference level.

 

It goes back to when he was manager of York. I just found something very irritating about him but he does play good football. It was testament to the York team that got promoted as they went up with football ability and tactics rather than kick there way out/spend loads of cash route as many other team have done in previous years.

 

Fair enough, I was just curious
I'd never really come across him until he turned up at Gateshead

 

It's a canny day out at the heed.
No Ashley or Pardew either so it's a bonus.
Plus that heckler from the East stand ain't there.
