Looks like North Ferriby will be looking for a new manager... Billy Heath to be named new manager of FC Halifax Town
According to RH North Ferriby manager Billy Heath is about to be appointed as the next AFC Halifax Town manager
James Smailes @James_Smailes North Ferriby United have confirmed management duo Billy Heath and Mark Carroll have left the club to join Halifax Town.
Wonder how many players he will take with him? Without sounding over dramatic Promotion could end up being the worst thing that could have happened to Ferriby...I know Halifax are now in a lower league than Ferriby (unless there is some 'Administration' relegations which often happens) but on a shoestring budget Ferriby really are going to struggle, especially now they dont have the 'loyalty' to the Manager card to play.
I would have thought some players would want to play against the likes of Wrexham, Lincoln, York, Tranmere, Chester etc. even if it is a tough season for the Villagers. Doesn't seem that long ago since we were regularly playing teams of that ilk.
Shame Billy has left, but he will be on more money so you know. It will be interesting to see who comes in, the bloke that got Fylde to the final would be a good shout.
Bolder apparently set to replace Heath.....first managerial role at a newly promoted club with very little budget.....so no need to worry about excuses if they don't stay up
I heard that a meeting was taking place earlier this week about the club taking a voluntary relegation, which would result in Halifax avoiding relegation. Nothing has come out as yet so I presume they have decided to give it a go. Also up to 8 players are planning to follow Heath to Halifax
North Ferriby season passes are now on sale for the National League so it is highly unlikely they will not take promotion with prices having gone up to match their new status
