A 2-1 win. I saw the last half hour. We had plenty of the ball. lazaar looked good at times down the left.

 

Saivet looked canny in the Tiote role too.

 

How did LeJeune look?
He is supposed to be good in the air, which is just as well considering how pants we are at defending free kicks and corners.

 

There's this oddly quiet, slightly insane optimistic part of me that does look on and wonder. I mean, Rafa's no mug, right? There's not many with his CV. Last season, Gayle did pretty well - much better than Abraham, or before him Andre Gray, Benik Afobe, Troy Deeney, Jamie Vardy and a number of other Championship CF's now in the PL. Mitrovic - for all his consistently poor scoring - was a much sought after young player who cost a princely £13m. Ayoze Perez has shown flashes. De Jong was PSV's Title winning captain and Dutch International. Hayden and Shelvey have both had superb seasons, as has Ritchie. Atsu is the AFCON player of the tournament. Lazaar was much lauded, Yedlin's a decent player, Lascelles and Clarke both played well and Mbemba is a favourite of many on here.

I always thought saivet was going to be a good player I have no idea what happened there.

 

He had those couple of games where he looked pretty decent as a DM. Christ, Tiote had more than enough crap games! I'd love De Jong to succeed, such a decent chap.
