If anyone of you hasn't seen any youtube clips of Samba Diakite and Taye Taiwo, take a look. I just hope the person in charge of Health and Safety at QPR has also seen these videos and is reassessing the dangers that these two present to fans at Loftus Road. With the crowd so close to the pitch, if either of them miss the goal, people behind the goals are in danger of being decapitated. Which I'm sure you'd agree would not look good on MOTD. I think they'll have to install plexi-glass like they do at ice hockey matches. If not they will have to start selling tickets behind the goals at a reduced price and labelled 'Danger Area' and have a disclaimer printed on the back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsGfso-ooEE 1.03 into the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-TXkp9qmYQ
I hope they have to strengthen the nets first. The plexi glass is just for attempts from the half way line
Im in the way if it goes high and wide left. I used to slag off Vine and every week, a couple of his shots would come close to hitting me in the warm up, Im sure he knew where I was sat but he missed the target as usual. They have netting at hockey arenas now so I hope theyd never do that here although it happens on the continent. What Id give to him to smack one right in terrys face, could you imagine the laughter as he gets stretchered off.
