Just got in from work and expected to see a few threads on not 606 but the tumbleweed was rolling around. Not one. Yes a bad weekend for the Swans and Wales, yes Wales should have won, hands down the better team, no comment on Roland but in fairness he did say before the game spearing would be punished. Was it deliberate or an accident? Difficult to tell but it was spearing and dangerous so Warbs got sent off. Why on earth didn't somebody attempt a drop goal in the last few minutes? Oh well. Swans had their chances but ultimately it was a fair result. To score a goal after going down 2 so quickly opened up the game and we dominated the first half. Norwich were strong second half Remember we lost there last year and turned them over at the Liberty later in the season. Good to see that the Norwich fans thought enough of us to have a sell out crowd for the visit of the Swans and they enjoyed a very entertaining game. A couple of games coming up where we, hopefully, can pick up a few points and we are still mid-table so heads up boys, onward and forward and the greatest support at the next home game. I know you will.
Rolland is a cheating French twat who could not wait to send him off and the Swans were bloody awful yesterday. That's just about all I can muster given the foul mood I'm still in
Yea When the Wales result happened, I kind of expected it to be 'just one of those days' I almost didn't care about the Swans result because of the manner we lost in to the frenchies. I'm still pretty upset...But onwards and upwards...I don't think the swans can play that bad many more times this season. And Wales has a bright future
Technically he's half French. Why would the authorities pick a half French ref to referee France? Unbelievable.
Dilly, I like to keep my language in check when the kids are around, but even I couldn't contain my rage with the sending off.
Neveroff, the whole day was rubbish Saturday, heard on the radio on the way to Norwich the commentary then when we parked up and got off the coach the locals took great delight in telling us the result. Then the Swans were rubbish beyond belief. Also I found their fans not only to resemble the cast of Deliverance but their attitude inside the ground was poor, certain clowns to our right were pointing at and deliberately goading some of our fans towards the front. Thankfully there was no sign of them outside as I was a little concerned as I had my son with me and a few of our lunatics went out looking for them. Thank God for some small mercys, that was just about the last thing I needed.
Have to agree Dilli, had a hat rick of loses, my son's team lost as well to a team they would beat 9 times out of 10. Why do some idiots have to spoil things. Luck enough when I have taken my son to away games we haven't had any signs of trouble. Saying that when we played Portsmouth in the FA Cup, as I couldn't get tickets I paid for hospitality and then got pelted with pies and verbally abused. I work in the area and my son plays for Portsmouth Elite Centre, did get a nice apology and a £35 refund as well.
I got verbally abused at Pompey last season. Walking out after the game a rather obese fan shouted see you next season you sheep shaggin tossed !! My reply was, no you won't you'll be dead from a heart attack by then you fat barsteward !!! 1-0 to me I think
Yes the were, curry pies. I mean, who would want a curry pie? Luck enough missed me and hit the fella behind me still got a small splattering.
I think this is one of those things I'll struggle to get over for the rest of my life. If the team keeps it together and kicks on, and we retain Gatland and Edwards, we'll be ok I think. I do, however, get a horrible feeling that the red card cost us our best shot at a World Cup ever. Were the Swans really that bad at Norwich?
