Yeah we must!! Isn't it fairly obvious that nutting something thats flying at probably 60+ mph is going to kill brain cells? Took them long enough to figure that out hasn't it

 

You only have to take one look at your average 'good' centre back to figure that out (Ferdinand / Terry spring immediately to mind).

 

Ask Geoff Astle family, they already know this.

Steve Foster was the Luton guy, just remembered! Maybe there will be a headband revival sometime soon?!

 

I had a mate in secondary school who's mum wouldn't let him head a football, presumably this was her reasoning

Now you've said that, I don't think I've ever intentionally headed a ball. Not so much not allowed, but a slight lack of coordination just always makes me feel like I'm about to have my nose explode across my face if I try.

There are plenty of famous players notorious for not heading the ball, I think Trevor Brooking scored the winner in the cup final with a header despite being known for purposely avoiding headers
