Always thought it was a bit weird that you have legends from over the years but no Paul Scholes in there, especially considering how much you guys crave to have some man love with the little fella
That's a whole new can of worms, who justifies inclusion and who doesn't. I'd have Dennis Irwin on there myself. Most of the above were club captains, although not all obviously (Edwards, Law and Best, not sure on Rowley) so it's not that.
We've discussed our banner (albeit, briefly) and there was a couple of shouts for no individuals. Guess it saves these arguments
Haven't seen many arguments about it on our board tbh. I don't think most people are all that bothered about who gets represented on a banner for an internet forum - we all have our own views about how good individual players were so I don't see missing a player or two off the banner as being a major issue.
Any suggestions for new banners are welcome, although they need to be at least 2,500 pixels wide to fit the site for all screen sizes. Post any you find in this thread, then we can decide which one we want
I'm too lazy to find any. 'Merica, but I'm guessing the majority of us would want something along the lines of the team with the Premier League trophy.
