..and although that doesn´t necessarily guarantee anything the fact that he comes across as being believable and convincing will be a plus in any player deals he has to conduct. It also sounds like he has a clear vision of the way forward he wants us to take, so despite it being a surprising and perhaps disappointing appointment, I for one am keeping an open mind, at least until there´s reason to do otherwise. http://www.canaries.co.uk/news/arti...-norwich-city-manager-neil-adams-1571472.aspx
He's far more articulate about plans and vision than i can remember any of our managers being, I think this is due to the amount of media work he's done but it does lead to some impressive interviews. He seems to have a clear idea of the point that he wants to communicate and doesn't fear how the media will twist what he says so isn't just straight batting all the questions.
I have been impressed with the way he thinks and better still conveys his message, ever since his original temporary appointment. Just need to transfer that on to the pitch, and hopefully he will
This is why I can't believe all the back lash. Maybe not the man most wanted but he clearly knows what he wants to do and he gets his point across very well. Give the man and the board a chance!
Couldn't agree more. Now that I've had time to get over the initial disappointment, I'm looking forward to seeing - a. Who wants to stay and fight for the team and the fans?? b. Which new players we can persuade to join us c. (And probably most important) - Who will be recruited as 'technical director', as from what both DM and NA have said on the topic they are going to have a MASSIVE influence on the whole team.
When you see how easily he can communicate his point it feels less ridiculous that he stood out at interview. His vision seems to fit the boards and he seems to know what he wants to do to fulfil it.
When you consider his experience in broadcasting and dealing with some of the 'muppets' who were regulars on Canary Call; he should have interviewed well. He can obviously 'talk the talk, but can he 'walk the walk'??? I reckon we'll have a good idea by the end of September!!
