Great vision for that finish, always thought he did ok for us he was a bit of a rough diamond when he was here thats for sure but you could see glimpses of the talent.

Jozy Altidore is a quality striker but played in a struggling team here. He had many off pitch family issues to contend with which did not help his form with the Tigers. The goal he scored against Manchester City proved just that.

I can see a Jon Walters situation with Altidore in the coming years like.

His goal scoring record this season is pretty decent, he always did OK for us, it must be tough in a struggling team to consistently hit the back of the net though. A few year older and an easier league doing good things for his confidence. Though i must say, It's not that great a goal, i'd back most strikers to finish that one

well some genius here decided that the way to score buckets full of goals was to only bother having one of our players in the other team's half.

He was 19 when he came to us, had no playmaker in MF to open up the channels, and yet he gave some big Prem CHs like Terry a hard time. Some of his goals for AZ and the US National team in the past two years have been top class. He has speed, strength, and his heading ability is hugely improved. He's still only 23 and on his way to becoming a top striker.

He did sort of get thrown in at the deep end when he signed for us. He was only young and he was signed as the man to score a vast amount of goals to keep us up. Huge pressure, young age, English Premier League; it was never going to end well.

He really impressed me at the World Cup though. I thought he was U.S.A's main man although their team was/is rather poor...

Gonna say! He had acres of space and the keeper was miles off his line. What's he thinking!? I'd expect most players to bury that.

I've watched a bit of Dutch football and it's fair to say there are some leaky defences, still good luck to Jozy, the Jon Walters comparison isn't far off
