    not sure why they haven't included him, but steve morison cost about £275,000 per goal too <ok>

    If they based it on salary rather than transfer fee pretty sure Holt would still top the list.

    What a load of rubbish....................you can't base the value of a goal on a transfer we paid three seasons ago! it should be based on all goals scored since he was singed and Grant holt is worth 5 times or in my eyes 100 times that amount now.

    Still cannot believe he has not been included in the Euro squad. Picking out of form strikers and ones that can't play in the group stages is ridiculous.

    has anyone else noticed that grant holt has scored more goals at anfield this season than andy carroll? he was only on the pitch for half an hour as well <laugh>

    I saw on Twitter earlier Holt has scored more goals or as many goals (can't remember which one) than Carroll at Anfield this season, and he only played 34 minutes!

    andy carroll has scored literally NO GOALS at anfield this season. in fact, he has only scored two goals EVER for liverpool at anfield, and both were in the same game! <yikes>

    Holty also scored more goals at the Liberty than Carroll ... and The Emirates .... you could go on and on cosidering Holty scored nearly four times as many goals as Carroll in the season but that didn't matter to Woy as Carroll hit form in the last 30 minutes of the last three games of the season and that makes him a shoe-in for the Euros .... grrrrrrr .... <grr>
