SoD you don't say that to the team you manage, are you saying our fans are not backing the club,com-on we have been backing them long before you arrived, and long after you go- o dear

Now back on home soil for the first time since a 1-1 draw with Colchester United at the end of September, the City chief says the backing of City fans could make all the difference.

He added: “We’d like a Bristol Rovers atmosphere really but I appreciate we’re probably not going to get that. <steam><steam><steam>

“I think everyone understands the significance of the game and the importance of it.

“People come along to support the team and we have to give them something to support. The players really do appreciate the backing.”

No idea if that is a dig at Sean O'driscoll or not. Backing of fans can always make a difference. Time more realised that.

Keep on supporting your local football club. Really looking forward to it tonight.

Surely he must realise, If the team wins he will get that type of Atmosphere, Sorry SOD at the moment the fans are doing their jobs, YOU and YOUR players aren't even matching us. So why don't you do something about it and manage a team capable of winning a team, Otherwise the only Song you will get is one calling for your head <doh>

Fans have been poor this season.

Eastend has lost that feel, its spark and imagination. Nothing to do with Sean O'driscoll more changing culture and modern football.

Fans do not react like they used to. Fandom has been in a slow decline. Hope for a defiant stance tonight.

Has anyone ever considered that the reason that the supporters are not the bouncy boys they should be is because they are paying hard earned money to watch garbage at Ashton Gate, and have been for many years? Show them the football that they crave and watch the tempo rise significantly.

    1. What do you expect? We've had 3 seasons of continuous struggle

    2. SOD plays a part. We are on the worst run without a league win ever in our history. This is a reason why

The bounce was ceased by a decision amongst fans that it had become cringey. It was.

Supporting culture has changed. Ashton Gate is now seeing the same homogenisation that is seen elsewhere. The subculture that for decades was the driver of vocal support is even in its spiritual home end in decline in numbers, and replaced by those who do not share the same outlook and culture.

    Considered that also?
