If that's the case there probably won't be any movement for Gedo and or Fathi unless the other deals break down.
It's a dangerous ploy, if we don't start putting a completion time on these deals then we are going to get burnt like we have done before. Then it's just a panic at the last minute job. If these 2 Egyptians are the back up then their work permit applications will take time that we will need to do in advance.
I think Campbell & Elmo are our targets and Gedo may come in if we can shift the likes of Cullen, Stewart & McKenna. I think the only way Fathi will come is if there is no hope of getting Elmo
I think Campbell is the cake and Gedo is the icing on the cake. I think this is being "encouraged" by Pappa Assem and Steve Bruce will gladly go along with it as he clearly has ability, even tho he is an unknown in our league Campbell is the focus tho because he is precisely what we need: a goalscorer in form in this league.
