On their website- on my phone so it'll be a pain posting a link so apologies- think its a big blow actually. But you have to have faith in the management teams ability to find another gem. I think we'll see one in on Monday and another when the loan market opens

share your disappointment OLM, Ayala looked a class act & would have done a good job for us & if this is solely down to the kerfuffle when he went back with the injury then with the greatest respect Comolli needs to grow up.....the lad seemingly wants to come back & it strikes me that all Comolli's stubborness will do is antagonise not just us which I don't think for a moment they're bothered about, but also the lad himself....would have thought he'd got bigger things on his mind with Torres saga....

Wonder if they'd consider putting in a cheeky offer. Wonder if Ayala stands by his 'rather play for the reserves than derby' comments

But if it is HDM said it, means we'll probably see him on the pitch today then!

There's probably a "only if the management accept it" Holloway caveat in there somewhere. :bandit:

if ash goes i can see one permanent signing before monday, weve saved a tonne of money lately and a player like ayala on a permanent would be superb.

That it would but, unlike last season, I'm sure they have several irons in the fire. I can't see Sonko coming in on Monday on £40k a week, nor can I see PeArson saying we've been chasing him for a long time. If worst comes to worst and they can't bring anyone in then they can always recall Cooper.

true, would be shame to do it, im sure theres another loan signing in the works from somewhere, sounds like he wants cooper to get the match experience and come back next season challenging for the first team.

Carlisle haven't conceded a goal yet with Cooper at the back, he'd be more than adequate cover, i'd still rather see us bring in a loan though so he can play every week but then come the summer there's not any extra players ahead of him which would probably be the case if we brought a permanent in.

I think I'd actually be up for Ash leaving if it meant we could afford to buy Ayala.

Chester and Gerrard didn't do so badly today. Could be a great partnership, and at least we own one of them :) It would be great to have Ayala, but I can't see him coming permanently, but Gerrard is possible.

Oh I'd be well chuffed is I was a Derby fan, signing a player that would rather play for us or Liverpool Reserves than them but isbeing forced to go there by the Liverpool management.
