So reports a (admittedly fairly flimsy) website source. I'd love this to be true, but I will be watching the away leg to Udinese very very nervously! This could give way to Walcott moving into a more definate striking role - something many fans cannot understand why hasn't happened sooner. I'd like to see arshavin play through the middle too in the advanced ex-fabregas role. IMO, bring in a new creative central midfielder for competition and one new centre-back and I'm much more confident about the coming season. Especially as I no longer have to worry about eboue and denilson giving away stupid penalties and (hopefully) bendtner being bendtner. What do you guys think? Good move?
Apparently it's €30m for hazard. If wenger spent anything like that on a player I would be astonished. That's like... Arshavin's fee in todays money..
I think Eden Hazard will be good for Arsenal but I wonder if our manager's parsimonious approach will ever go to such lengths to bring in a player. However did he not say he would spend up to 40mil or did he mean in total?
I thought the Eden Project was somebody's ridiculously expensive day-dreaming about a number of odd bubbles full of moist hot air in a fantasy world? On second thoughts I suppose that could also be Wenger's approach to signing a footballer.
