I find myself pissed off at both parties.

Hazard has made a right twat of himself and the swansea lad has made a right twat of himself. Both shameful. A real barometer for where football is, especially in the top league.

Brace yourself for weeks and weeks of bollocks ala the racism thing last year. I can't wait.

Ball went out for a free kick and he smothered it to waste time. Really ****ty thing to see if it had been norwich he was wasting time against i'd have flipped. Hazard went up to him to try and get the ball and he lost it.

All in all a pretty ****ed up situation.

yeah i thought the kid (young man really) was a bit of a twat too, but actually i think he's less so now.

in some video of it, it looks like he dives on the ball, but he seems to be pushed by an impatient hazard. Also that angle shows that hazard didnt kick the ball from under him, he clearly kicks him in his side. Yes the kid should get off the ball quicker, but if he was pushed unexpectedly onto it, that's very different from a premeditated plan to time waste.

Don't know what the hell the ball boy was doing but what Hazard did was pathetic and stupid. Quite right that he got sent off.

I seen another video yes the boy was bit slow and he seemed to get tangled with hazard on the ball and seemed to fall on the ball. But hazard should of complained to ref if he was slow.. No excuse to kick him a disgrace!

Many years and, potentially, many rule changes ago I was a ball boy and was told that for goal kicks the ball should only be given to the goalkeeper. He probably was slow walking it but actually that happens a lot (next time were down by a goal in the last 10 check out how quickly the ball gets back into play and vice versa) being pushed to the ground and kick was probably not what he thought would happen.
Should he have given the ball to Hazard once he was lying on it? Probably. Did he cross the line? Maybe. Did Hazard cross the line? Definitely.

See some of the other angles they came together and it "looked" like Hazard pushed the kid over. He probably stayed down out of shock and because that's what players do (lol!) and then Hazard kicks him in the ribs. The initial thing was the kid being a bit slow (who wouldn't it happens) but bundling him over then giving him a kick well out of order and it's ASSAULT!!

If Hazard was unhappy about the time he should have approached the ref over it, end of

The ball-boys reaction to being kicked was ridiculous, doesn't excuse Hazard though.

The Ballboy knew what he was doing but equally Hazard has lost his freaking mind.

I'm more pissed off at the situation as a whole than pointing fingers. Mainly because it reflects badly on all football clubs/players to outsiders.

Apparently, don't know if it's genuine, seems unlikely, the ball-boy tweeted that he was going to waste time before the match.

Defend the Indefensible on Fighting Talk should be a no-brainer this week.

Apparently, the ball boy is lodging a no win no fee claim through 'Lawyers 4 U'.
Because he was injured by a Hazard in the workplace.
