I don't expect this fight to be a classic. Boxing has been dying a slow and painful death for years now - especially the heavyweights, so boring to watch. Haye winning would be a good thing, as he is a character, whether he's universally loved or not. Either way, I can't see it being much of a spectacle and will most likely do very little for the sports recovery.
The fact the biggest market (the US) has long since turned it's back on boxing, suggests that there's a long road to recovery. I doubt it's even a pay-per-view event across the pond.
Nice to see a article on the boxing tonight, well done Tash!
Haye has to go for the knockout or get a stoppage as Klitschko will be happy enough to bore the fight out. Haye's speed is what will win him the fight and if he puts Wlad on the back foot early on, he should stop it abouts the 4th round.
Also, why is there so much dislike to Haye ? He trash-talks to sell fights and it works, there's an estimated 500 million people going to be watching it. He's English so you should be behind him. If he wins tonight, i guarantee most of his haters will become his lovers.
Haye to stop Wlad in the 4th round.
Come on Haye!!

Tash didnt make this article![]()
I want to bet on Haye - I if stake 40 quid i win 55 in Haye wins.
I'm close to pressing the button but i just have a strange feeling that Haye will dominate and then get a right hook to the chin and go down.
How if Haye wins then follows through with his retirement promise, good for boxing?
Obviously, that wouldn't be good. If he does win and then immediately retires, then he'll be remembered as one of the lamest Champions ever. I would expect he'd re-think his retirement plans, and at least have a couple fights to defend his titles.

David haye is like marmite
Does any one know where the fight is on BTW
He won't re-think his retirement plans he's already said plenty of times he plans to retire before his 31st birthday. If he wins tonight then he will face Vitali and then retire

I've had a complete change of heart in this! I really want Haye to win this! It'd be best for the future of boxing, especially British boxing!![]()
