Right. Been away a few weeks now and checked through the most recent articles / posts. A bit concerned about this gloom and doom and hope you all don't mind but here is my take on stuff..... We have a game in hand which is home v Reading - a probable win, which would surge us up a very close, competitive premiership. Clubs of our stature are separated by the width of a cigarette paper. Not sure why peeps are slagging off Martin now. Surely we all now he builds from the back, makes his teams hard to beat and then - THEN - moves on to teams who win cups or regularly finish top 6 or 7. By the way - I didn't want Mr. O'Neill, preferring a move for Mark Hughes - take a look at my history if you want! O'Neill is streets ahead of our last 6 or 7 managers in my humble opinion and will, given time, bring us success. Anyway, thats all. Lovely to be back. KEEP THE FAITH! X
As usual us Sunderland fans tend to go through the roof then crash back down to reality. O'Neil IS a very good manager and I trust him to get it right. He's made us hard to beat. I know it doesn't look pretty but its an improvement on the Bruce era where we seemed to constantly ship late goals. I'm prepared to look at the long game and think Oneil will come good in time. KTF
with you on this one - build from the back heading forwards - tried and trusted formula - problem is some of the younger supporters want instant success
Instant success? What the ****'s that then? I've supported them for 40 years. When do I get the success?
