.... if we were 3rd bottom with 4 points to catch up things would look much better.

We have 7 'relegation rivals' to play at home and they all look poor.

It's only 4 ****ing points so let's not start with the 'we're doomed' bollocks or I'll have to have you all killed <ok>

Liking the attitude smug, but that is a disappointing result. i know we edge closer but we can't score for toffee....and I say that in hope that the toffees give us goals in return on boxing day.

We've scored against Newcastle, Spurs, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelseas etc ......... we can score and we'll scrape safety against Cardiff at home <ok>

Still think we'll stay up. Today is the perfect example of how some of them can't cut it though. Wasting the ball for good positions by either miss timing crosses/passes and shooting tame shots when there were better options.

Poyet knows that mate but has to play with what he has ........ he must be pulling his ****ing hair out.

All we want is for him to scrape home and start to build for next year.

that is the problem though pal. this is my last rant tonight as it doesn't do me any favours, but if we have to break these 'ordinary' teams down at home (who we should be beating) to get out of this predicament, yet our current players keep over and/or miss hitting passes/final balls, taking too many touches or blazing the ball wide and over....we are, sadly, in a lot of trouble.

It was the same last week against West Ham. Great in possession, but we never truly looked like scoring as a result of the above.....hey ho. have a good night lads, wherever you may be. at least we got a point.

I watched it on the net and the effort was there.

Positive is another clean sheet and 1 more point to safety.

My new year wish is a quality striker (will only be on loan) and the gap down to 2 points before the new year..

We have ***gots up front Altidor, etc why could they not just shoot first time for Christ sake, just pathetic theres another match "we have to win " gets away, supporters are kidding themselves them players were not interested today like the 19 point scumbags, Larsson and Cattermole cannot run with the frigging ball and they spent too much time looking at each other where to pass the ball, and as for the refs they are walking a kicking, if get on the pitch like that bloke god help them.

the problem is going to be stopping the other relegation fodder from shutting up shop when they play us. Any team in the bottom ten will be happy playing for a point against us at the SoL. Its going to be hard work, and we are going to need the ball to fall right for us in the final 3rd.

You happy with gaining a point on your rivals? Should it not have been three given your opposition?
