After today's disappointment, I think it's fair to say alot of fans don't exactly have a lot of faith in Grayson at the moment.
While I think he's done really well for us so far, and I think he has the potential to do even better, I can't help but imagine how well we'd be doing if he'd just sorted our defence out. We all know exactly what we need, but he hasn't addressed it enough.
And something is clearly wrong with our defensive coaching - Lees, Kisnorbo, Bromby, O'Brien (should he ever play for us again), Connolly, White - none are terrible defenders. We're not playing the all out attack formation of last season, so we can't use that as an excuse, and I'm sick of people saying it's just lapses of concentration. Lapses of concentration wouldn't happen twice a game on average.
Now I don't exactly want Grayson to be fired, but I fear if he doesn't sort this out soon, perhaps a change of manager with newer ideas and defensive methods is the way forward.
I'm still 100% behind Grayson, just worrying our season is about to fall into inconsistency.

Today was worrying. Barnsley knocked over-run us in midfield and their big lad Davies wasn't dealt with at all. Likewise with Ranger when he come on. Becchio/Clayton weren't even at 50% of their capabilities today.

Still backing Grayson with you though, we win at Forest Tuesday and all will be well.

Positives? Howson was superb, likewise Snodgrass, White had another good game but not his best, McCormack looked lively but struggled to get in the game. Lees was knocked around abit but at least tried to get stuck in. These 5 can hold their heads up, the rest need a good look at themselves in the mirror...

Grayson is struggling to get any consistency from his team, and there must be a reason for this. Do all the players believe in him? Do they understand what he wants from them, how he wants them to play? More importantly, do they believe in him? Or is he just another Martin Johnson at the helm of a ship without a compass?
