Saturdays game could be a season defining one, sure I heard that before somewhere!
A win and we should be back in the top half, back above the skunks, confidence lifted and ready for a good run in.

Draw and it will feel like a loss, we can say all we like about how its stopped the losing streak but for me it will do little to lift my spirits or the players confidence.

Should we lose, well I cant start to put into words how that would make me feel, true panic will set in, all of the hopes and dreams our season had will evaporate and despair and depression will take over.

That’s what will fill my head but a calmer business brain in Shorts head will I’m sure start thinking about the future.

Like you, my head is full of this, restless in anticipation but, what about the players? If we lose and our season peters out to failure, again, I will be back next season hoping this time it will be different, where will players like Gyan, Sess,Muntari,Welbeck, Mensah and Ned be? I know these are all professionals and will give it 100% or there about but is that enough?

Like you I will be giving 110% because this is my team and my passion, is it their team and passion or just their job, it’s their job but surely its the same with all teams, yes it is so how do others get that extra 10%, from the manager.

The top managers get it through fear, motivation or both, can Bruce generate that fear or give that motivation, we may find out on Saturday, I for one hope he can.

I wonder what Ellis Short makes of all this, especially after his statement on the radio, the bright side is that normally we spend all season worrying about relegation, at least we have been able to wait until now, I just hope we get a decent win against brum

In the lap of the gods this one Syd, just sick of excuses, and last Sunday, there were no excuses. But like you I live in hope, a pal of mine and I got well pissed on sunday night, mind he supports Blackpool, so we both had a common goal, unlike our teams, who had no idea where the goal OR what a goal is.
