the fixture list for Wigan? Sorry, if this has been mentioned before, but thought it was worth posting the list (again?): Man City away, West Ham away, Spurs home, West Brom away, Swansea home, Arsenal away, Aston Villa home. Can't see them getting anything against Man City, West Ham, Spurs, West Brom and Arsenal. They have a far worse run of fixtures to the end of the season than probably all the teams at the bottom end of the table. Can't see them making the great escape this time?:emoticon-0107-sweat

It's a tough run in for sure but that might not stop them, it doesn't normally make much difference <laugh>

Then again, the law of averages would suggest their good fortune has to run out eventually.

The only thing that might save them is I would say Sunderland's fixture list is almost as bad and they are in worse form:
Newcastle away, Everton home, Villa away, Stoke home, Southampton home and then Tottenham away

Of those: the derby and Tottenham away look very difficult; Everton at home and Villa away will be very tough. So they're relying on Stoke at home and Southampton at home.

wigan are lose cannons, as Thai allures too, they can beat anyone on their day if they turn up. I just hope those run of 3 away matches in a row (including QPR) sandwiched in with the cup semi stops the run they were on in the league.

the key point for me is that we are 4 points ahead of wigwam and sunderland, i can't see BOTH of them overhauling that gap (with my rose-tinted glasses on)

Of all those in and around 'the mire' wouldn't it be magnificent to see Stoke City led by Mr 'fashion icon' Pulis (twat) slip through the trapdoor.

Apart from the fact that Adrian Durham would only have NCFC as his whipping boys next season - but who gives a fig what that cantankerous bastard says anyway <ok>

Stoke or Wigan would suit me

Stoke would be funnier though. I have enjoyed reading their board and their "We should be a top 10 side now (at the start of the season)" , only to see it go totally tits up this season.

I can see Wigan beating Spurs (5 players missing) End of season jitters again for Spurs.. plus Wigan's annual escape from the jaws of relegation.

As for getting relegated. Stoke would be good by me, or Sunderland as I'd like to see one of the so called 'big boys' drop

    Hang on!! :emoticon-0101-sadsm

This kind of libelous remark could get someone in trouble.... I'll ask Dave to Ban you <whistle> <laugh>

I can be accused of being a 'budgie sympathiser' as I like to see you lot do alright punching above your station in the name of East Anglia.... But I am not adverse to having a chuckle at your expense as and when the opportunity arises as I'm sure you would reciprocate <ok>

Got to say that I can see Wigan doing enough. A lot will depend on whether DeCanio is able to get anything out of Sunderland - if he gets a positive response then they may be OK but if they get a shellacking against the Mags then the crowd will be despondant and the players so down that they will not recover. Similarly Stoke have still got us and Sunderland to play and if they lose both of those they are really in the brown stuff.

I think the game against Reading is our ace in the hole - if we can't beat the worst team in the league at home then we deserve to struggle. If we do roll them over then we have 38 points and will be pretty much home and hosed (hopefully!)

We already have an honorary Canary, and I wish he'd turn up to announce that we're "definitely relegated - FACT"...

...so we can all stop worrying and relax a bit.

Can't really see how you can say, they definately won't get this or that, who would have thought last season that wigan would beat man u?

End of season results will always throw up some crazy results, normally the clubs that really go for it andnot play for draws will survive.
