I hardly think you can say we tried buying promotion this yr, we have shipped out alot more players than we brought in, and more than likely cut the wage bill dramatically in the process, but to answer your question, yes we have blown it, we did so about 12 games ago by changing a winning team,( 5 games on the trot), for the cup tie against Huddersfield, massive, massive, massive mistake
Im not having that...no way just because we changed the team does not have anything to do with a 12 match winless run...maybe 2 or 3 after the cup game ..but come...12..really? nah

I'm with sandiacre on this - as you might expect - it was a needless 'own goal' and showed a lack of respect to 5,000 travelling foxes fans who went to watch the first team ... confidence in football is a fragile thing and Nigel needlessly shattered ours with his decision and for what purpose? ... Wood was obviously fit because he came on and scored ... but the rumours of bust-ups within the camp soon followed ... speculation perhaps ... but strikers on a scoring run don't want (or need) a rest ...
Not blown it yet. Forest away to Cardiff this weekend while Brighton are away to Boro. A win for us would be huge and could see us go 5th if those results go our way. Still plenty to play for.
PLenty to play for yes. Im just happy that some of the posters on this board are not our manager. They would have thrown in the towel by now, sent the players on their holidays and forfeited the remaining games as the season is over NOT! We will finish 5th !
