Have you ever innocently taken a banana to a football match?

I'd be asking the question "why did you have a banana in the first place?". How many people here have innocently taken a banana to a football ground? Personally i've never even considered it. Some times i can go 2, possibly even 3 hours without any sort of food. Even if i couldn't a banana would be bottom of my list to take. Not because i don't like bananas but because of what they have come to represent at football matches.

Is there some sort of medical condition that requires banana intake every few hours? If so, how did Mr Flint survive after flinging his at Bale? Was it returned?

 

he may have had a potessium deficiency and while attempting to peel the afore said item it slipped from his grasp owing to the shape of it and inadvertantly landed at mr bales feet your honor

 

Apparently there is a Condition linked to Torrets where to control it you have to throw bananas, I think it's so wrong to charge this poor bloke for a medical condition

 

The only medical condition in this case is the lack of a brain.

I never take any sort of food or drink to games unless you count alcohol consumption flowing through my body , I only live a 10 minute walk from WHL anyway so no need for packing lunches.
Away games I tend to just go to a chippy before or after the game. Taking baggage/ food to a game is more hassle than it's worth in my eyes.

 

Which condition would that be exactly?

Arsenal-supporteritis or Banana-throwing-prickphobia?

 

I have never thought about such a thing until you just said it... I mean, when you think about it, I'm sure somebody health conscious parent has sent her young son off with a fruit snack... Logically, an apple would be less messy, especially if you're one of those freaks who eats the cores and pips, but a banana does taste better and makes a better snack...

I'm sure I've taken some raisins once. Never had the urge to throw them at a player though.

City fans used to take inflatable bananas- for some reason. Grimsby fans took inflatable haddocks, didn't they? I susect thay take pollocks now they are in the Conference (the fish, not the paintings).

 

Would he have been charged more for an apple? An apple is harder and could cause more damage, (even Kill, if you are talking granny smiths.)

Yet there is no symbolism involved with apples
