....since Diame Day had you roaring in May. I'm sensing some residual bitterness down there . https://www.owlstalk.co.uk/forums/topic/285235-hull-tigers-fc-whats-going-down/#comments One or two grounded folk on that thread, but others long since out of radio contact, no one receiving. Anlaby Owl? What a hoot. One poster says they've sold over 2,000 for tomorrow night out of the 2,800 allocation. Odd, it's a lot cheaper and nearer than going to Wembley when 50,000 would not suffice the massive ticket demand for this heavily in debt goliath of a club.
Cracking thread that one Love seeing the "they aren't Yorkshire, they're Humberside" bollocks, which is a bit rich coming from someone from a city which is half Derbyshire.
For a massive club we seem to get under their skin a bit; thought they would be more bothered about their main European rivals like Real Madrid and AC Milan
I tell you what, I never tire of seeing this. What a goal, what a team we had ....how was it only 1-0? Sheffield looked like they were playing with damage limitation in mind after the first ten minutes when they realised we were superior in every position as well as collectively. Their manager's faux fur Boyes parka on a roasting May afternoon at Wembley epitomised their lack of nous and crass decision-making. Well and truly schooled on the day. Bravo Hull.
I only found out not so long ago Sheffield is apparently Yorkshire. I’d always thought it was Derbyshire and the last point of the midlands. As someone who was born and bred in the midlands no less!
Just as a matter of interest I played Lindrick golf course a few times and was told that one green, depending on where your ball was on it, you could either be in Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire. P.S. For those golfers on here John Jacob's was the pro when I played there.
Potentially yes , there are never going to be home fans in there it just depends how much of it they open for away fans
Totally Sold out tonight according to Radio Leppings Lane. We’ve been given the North Stand apparently.
Dunt surprise me. Heard they sold their allocation several weeks ago and have been appealing for more to cater for the huge demand.
