To be absolutely honest when the RS beat City I had resigned myself to a completely **** summer. Having a rubbish team with a disastrous season was bad enough but having the RS winning the title for the first time would have sent me into a deep catatonic depression. Now I can relax, enjoy a nice summer and look forward to the next season. United competing for a Cl place and the RS getting humiliated in the Cl and failing to get into top four as expected I have got to thank Rodgers for being the king of the muppets and stevie for giving me one of the moments of the season.
To have one (or two) rubbish season after an unprecedented long period of continued dominance is not a big deal for me. I have known united being worse (not much worse though) but to have the RS winning the title would have rubbed the noses of united fans in it.
Despite all the hype from the YSB's, they still only managed to win the same as us SWEET F**K ALL! We have just had ONE bad season out of 25, they still have the record of 25 out f 25 Congrats to City, so glad they won it rather than the YSB's

I think he knows that this was his very last chance of lifting the trophy. With the chavs and city remaining top dogs for the foreseeable future, it will be a while before the RS can challenge for the title.
