A mild interlude from the trials and tribs of everyday life at the moment down CC way. Listening to Stoke v Spurs on the wireless and could swear that Stoke came out at half time to OUR TUNE - Palladio. Bloody cheek. My only away game this year was at the Emirates and their lead out 'song' was hardly inspiring. Obviously know what gets played at Anfield. Anyone heard another better than ours.
Yes! Birmingham City. Mr Bluesky. Never fails to cheer me up and even if we lost I'd go home happy. Also Everton - I used to like Z Cars.
Danny Baker once started a campaign to get Millwall to run out to the Loony Tunes cartoon music. Strangely, it never caught on.
I had good laugh at the end of the Stoke v Spurs game when the players walked off the pitch to Ken Dodds 'Happiness' blasting out of the speakers I had a flash back to all the Stoke inbreds dressed up as Diddymen bucked teeth, scruffy hair and squeaky voices. and that's without any make-up on.
Viva El Fulham Anyone remember the days when the Metropolitan Police band used to march at half time at Highbury and the band leader used to toss is baton in the air and catch it. (Been told he did drop it a few times). Not better than ours but At Wolves they have Hi Ho Silver Lining, think they also do The Liquidator same as Chelsea (typical skinhead stomp). West Ham, I'm forever blowing Bubbles (with a bubble machine on the half way line)
Ah yes, Viva El Fulham. Revives the '75 emotions when they play it on the occasions that MAF strides across the pitch.
We play Bolero by Steve Sharples when the players come out after half-time, and have done for 3 or 4 seasons now.
