This was posted on the Liverpool board today - do they still think we are in decline ?

"Default The Differnnce between us and them..

Utd wanted Jones, they signed him
Utd wanted Young, they signed him
Utd wanted De Gea, they signed him.

We have Comolli and from all the targets we are supposed to be chasing have we have signed one, and I like amny others would not have put an attacking central midfileder as a main priority.....now what exactly has Comolli been doing since the last transfer window closed?

I hate the way we haggle over a few million on players which drags out the process, UTD want a player they sign him and move to the next target...

until LFC fix or change this transfer mentality we will never match them... "

Comolli creates a shortlist for Dalglish to choose from, rather than forcing signings onto the manager. The Frenchman knows that the manager has to be happy with who he receives, and his job is to narrow down the field.

A great article here that explains -

post was by some united fan or depresssed individual as yes we were interested in young, and ye wanted the german keeper gone to bayer sneijder and modric also stayed putn, De Gea woildnt sit on our bench or depose reina. young made a career decision, CL current champs, correct career decision, its now or never for him.
Jones, we as did everyone know he wanted to go to united even if united offered less pay he would have chosen ye, cheeky bid thats all, he was never gonna change hiis mind

Decline or not, far too much to fit into one thread, look at the prem a few years ago, all of it is in decline as of last season, concerning top teams, and the lower ones are getting better. Teams go up and down every season quality wise, what matters is who ends up top come may.

Well the poster on the Liverpool board was KarlDuvall who lists his favourite team as guess what.......Liverpool !!! As for his state of mind ( depression ? ) unfortunately I'm not medically qualified to give an opinion, unlike our friend Bringbackfootie who was obviously using his scouse logic !

How will we replace Cantona, Robson, Keane, Ince, Beckham, van Nistelrooy, Stam, Tevez, Ronaldo, Scholes and van der Sar?

    WE ARE FINISHED!

How about "indebted"? That seems to have been the word of choice for ABUs for the last six years...
