That's a really skewed piece of journalism Billy. The stats about deaths from terrorism are based on the USA's definition of a particular brand of terrorism and understate worldwide deaths. They ignore the narco gangs of Central and South America. There are tens of thousands dying there every year. They didnt mention home-grown terrorism, based on their own warped constitution that allows their own people to own heavy machine guns. How many tens of thousands die in the US every year? How many of their own children die in schools and colleges? As for the japanese, they don't just treat muslims that way, they treat all foreigners that way based on a philosophy of genetic superiority.
So the way to stop a minority of muslims commiting terrorism, is to ban all muslims from entering a country ? Sure, and if we kill all dogs, there will no longer be any children/people hurt from dog attacks. not sure about that last sentence, but the rest is stop on
Absolute bollocks. The gangs of Central & South America are contained to a specific area just like the Irish paramilitaries of both sides were. Islamic fundamentalists on the other hand are a world wide disease. As for college & school slayings in the USA, that's down to nutters not terrorists. They aren't trying to impose their will & beliefs on the whole world. Islam is an archaic doctrine that is stuck in the middle ages. They wont be happy until they've imposed shariah law on the entire planet. There's no room for Islam in this day & age. Let the Israeli's sort it & back them to the hilt.
Terrorism is terrorism mate. I'm sure all those college kids facing down the barrel of a semi-automatic didn't care that the guy pulling the trigger wasn't a Muslim, a narco or a PIRA. The narco gangs ARE terrorising their homelands, as much as the Sunni militia's are. It just doesn't affect us directly so it's not pushed in our faces on our tv screens every day. I don't pick and choose one over the other. They're all evil bastards pushing their own agendas, whether its religious, political or financial.
You're missing the point mate. All terrorist organisations have a political agenda, that I agree with. But there's only one set of bastards trying to take over the world. You know who that is as well as I do.
Perhaps philosophy was the wrong word, but they are one of the most homogenous people in the world, based on their own historical belief of being a superior race to the states around them, the Chinese, Koreans, etc.

But banning all muslims from entering the UK is just a daft idea. Human right laws have gone too far (the fact that we cant deport extremists is mad), and we need to find a balance so we can deal with the issue but a blanket ban is just pure bullshit.

One small observation I have about the migration of Muslim's from Syria etc is that there is plenty of room in the Muslim countries that were once part of the USSR. Surprised Uncle Putin has not suggested this as their wealth and knowledge could enhance those countries and improve them.
