I really must take my hat off to the pair of them for the way they have gone about business this summer. Some fantastic signings and we have kept Michu and Williams, it really couldn't get much better. Onwards and upwards for the rest of the season. Agree or disagree?
Agreed However tonights movements have exemplified Laudrup's theory of us being in a different league from the likes of Everton and upwards. It is what it is though, and they played a blinder. Just glad I ignored the rumours about Ash/Michu and silly season is over. I'm not sure bony is worth the £13 million we paid yet as he has not showed anything spectacular that any other cheaper striker would do....I hope he improves on what he has shown so far...
Bony will come good, still think he's finding his feet. One thing I notice yesterday was that he was looking for balls down the channel, and nobody getting the ball into them, and you could see his frustration.

Bony was a great signing, like any other signing its a punt, ask Chelsea about Torres. To me he is going to score a hat full once he's played a few more games. The way Laudrup and Jenkins have conducted themselves has been top draw, calmly pulling the strings. Great to see the club in safe hands.
I agree Dai, think he needs to loose a couple of pounds. Shelvey did get a couple of balls behind the back four but mainly to Hernandez. Still their all getting used to each others style of play etc give it another 4 games and they will be in tune with each other.

Agree never - we should be celebrating the fact that we have held on to our best players and added some quality to the squad!! Was dreading this transfer window - but it seems we have done some great business!!!
