Will he be playing before the seasons up?

I dont think we should rush him but it would be gud if he could get couple of games before the seasons up

He is an amazing player and would get into any of the 20 Prem teams imo. Cant wait til he is back playing regularly :)

He wanted to play in the Wolves game but that was too optimistic it seems, he's not injured anymore, just nowhere near match fit or match sharp. I think he might play before next season. Just hope we arent in a position where we have to rush him back.

Yes, I genuinely think he appreciates the support he's had and would indeed stay with us.

He'd be lethal in the Championship like...

But I am confident we will not go down and I think he would seriously consider leaving if we were to go down, he could be playing CL football.

Yeah considerin since we got him permanently he hasnt played he wud kind of owe us, even though it not his fault being injured

If we got relegated and as I say we wont. What team do you think we would have. I think Jonas, Jose, Colo, Joey wud all leave this time around. But the likes of Hatem, possibly Tiote but I doubt it very much, Stevie Taylor, Nolan wud all stay

I think it wud be (without signings)

    Steve Harper

    Danny Simpson
    Steven Taylor
    Mike Williamson
    Shane Ferguson

    Ryan Taylor
    Kevin Nolan
    Dan Gosling
    Hatem Ben Arfa

    Leon Best
    Nile Ranger

Defo a Championship winning team imo ;)

But, as I say we will stay up with ease I think :)

There's no way Ben Arfa would stay if we went down.

In fact, there's no way he'll stay once he has impressed for longer in the Premier League.

For as long as Newcastle don't have any ambition to compete at the top end of the table, then we won't be anything more than a platform for players like Ben Arfa, Jose, Tiote to be noticed by ambitious clubs.

    If we went down

    Foster

    Simmo - Tayls - Willow - Ferguson
    Gosling - Nolan - Guthrie - LuaLua
    Best - Ranger

    No chance would HBA stay.

We wont go down though, I'm pretty confident of that.

Don't think he'll play this season, is he even back from France yet? I read somewhere that Pardew had told him to stay in France because there's bugger all to do in Newcastle but go clubbing.

I'd simply like him to fully recover, have the summer to get fit, train hard in pre-season and then get into the first XI.

I don't want him rushed back to fill holes in the squad. If he's not truly ready then he shouldn't be risked.

Its a damn shame he got injured like. It would have been great to see the Toons league position with HBA getting a regular start. I'm pretty sure we would of been looking at qualifying for a Europa League place

My personal Championship team(if the unthinkable did happen) :

    Harper
Sim Willo Saylor Perch(He's decent at this level)
    Gosling Nolan Guthrie Ferguson
    Best Ranger

Subs: Forster/Krul, Kadar, Tarvernier, LuaLua, Vuckic, Ameobi, Loverman.

Oh and if Routledge wants to come back, sell Nolan(I doubt he'll fancy another season in the Championship although he'll probably be the best player in it) and let Guthrie and Gosling form a midfield partnership!

Donaldson, Tozer, Inman, Airey and Edmunsson can be reserves/back ups to the first 18.

Don't want us to get relegated anyways! :) Rep back to you.

That goes without saying! <yikes> But i honestly think we will be fine.

I hope that Airey has more of a look in next year. Get rid of Lover. But then, i hope we sign a couple of strikers, so he will still be down the pecking order... Him and Ranger to start ALL cup matches!

I say get rid of Kuqi(obviously), Lover(Past it and very average at this level) and Ameobi(Inconsistent, injury-prone and old). NEW ST, NEW ST, Best, Ranger and Airey would be my striking options.

If the NEW ST's are Gervinho and Ola Toivonen then you, Sir, have a deal! :emoticon-0150-hands
