I cant understand why on earth the powers that be have chosen a ginger-tango kit as our 2nd kit??Maybe they was all sitting round the table brainstorming when some fool looked at Briatores fake tan and had a eureka moment!!! its awful! I will be surprised if they sell many of this ugly shirt..
It's just a kit!!! Makes no difference whatsoever to the on field game (apart from your eyes), you haven't even seen it in the flesh!
I think it is great because living in Holland we get dressed up in orange once a year to get pissed on Queen's day, it's a national holiday over here and party for a day and a half. At least it will be better than the old orange polo I have been wearing for years. Mind you 50 quid to get a beer stained top is a little OTT but I got to get it.
We've tended to go for red and black second colours for decades. It had become part of our identity. The green and white third option also worked because those were our original colours. Let's face it, we might be a comparitively small club but we have a long history and a proud tradition to cherish. How does this orange thing sit in with all that? It's out of keeping and just looks WRONG. It has only one redeeming factor. As Flanman says, he can be Dutch and Rangers at the same time!
It matters not on the second strip but about the quality of players that are pulling a Rangers shirt on
I'm with Brixton and most of the rest of you. The orange kit just doesn't say QPR to me. Maybe they're trying to make DJ feel more at home and are hoping he'll stay in the goal scoring form he was in at Blackpool.
I for one couldn't give two ****s if we're playing in yellow and pink polka dots if we finish 17th. If you don't like it then don't buy it. Official merchandise is all overpriced crap anyway, especially on overweight middle-aged blokes.
I give two hoots, would you be ok if we dumped the hoops and went for a differnt kit? the hoops is our history!
Obviously not as, as you say, the blue and white hoops are a part of the club and we are well-known for that. We've had lots of away kits both hooped and non-hooped so it's a silly comparison.
