Has the Atom bomb landed?

Didn't see the game in fact only just seen the highlights on QPR player so maybe something else has happened that know nothing about.

We lost 0-4 to Bolton, TBH this was a score I predicted to myself so I'm not really surprised, but what's with the mass hysteria going on here.

Got home yesterday evening and thought let’s see what everyone thought, any pluses or positives but there were about 9 thousand screaming posts on here from getting rid of manager, players our lovely owners(no surprise there) and wanting buy anything from 5 to 55 new players. So I gave up trying to get through the posts there were just too many and all sooooo negative.
Get a grip people it's only our 1st game and if this is going to be the reaction every time we get beat there will be nobody left to talk to as you will have all committed suicide before xmas.

Anyway can anybody who watched the match tell me if Adel, DJ and Jay, did there fare share of defending I'm assuming TS did and Adel did none.

 

I was at the game and there definately were some plusses hidden in there somewhere. I think that Derry did better than anyone expected and the two new front men looked quite lively, and I think that as they grow an understanding with each other they'll get better. It has to be said though that our defending throughout was poor, and the last half hour was the worst performance I've seen at Loftus Road for a long time. The crowd were top class though.

 

Thanks Kaspers, but one of our main strengths last year was defending from the front line and I am just wondering if that didn't happen on saturday? I just feel Jay and DJ are not the chasing back type?

 

I was really surpised just how much chasing back Jay did, certainly in the first half.
I always took him for the selfish frontman sort, he looks like he's got a lot more to him than that though!

Flan: If by A-Bomb you mean Premier League, I'm afraid it hit us for six (well four anyway but at home it feels like six!).

As for us being fractious after the event, I'm like that anyway when we get licked - but after the summer we've had I ain't surprised if this board feels a bit post-Hiroshima!

 

Brixton, thanks for your comments, but I really am floored by the reaction it obviously an overflow from the riots last week, on a web site!
