Watching today game I began to question Ramirez's contribution and how he was applying himself. Something said to me that he looked like a player that had thrown the towel in, a player "too good" for the poor team that was around him? Somebody, a little arrogant, saying to himself "Sod this for a game of soldiers, I hope I get sold next season!" thoughts?
A small caveat to that is he wasn't the worst player on the pitch by far! I think that award goes to the headless chicken Mayuka!

Can I ask why the **** do we get threads like this after every **** game?, but when we play good there are hardly any?. It always seems to be a thread about Ramirez as well, who is in his first season in English football. He played ok today but none of the team actually played well to single out one player can not be done.

As for having a go at Mayuka it's his first start for us (I think) and he will need to adapt to our play.

The whole team were poor and seemed rusty.

I await RLGB to have a go in a post like always.

Was thinking this, it's clear he's got the ability but he wouldn't track back when he was on the wing and going forward was often a bit too selfish. I don't think it's his attitude or ability though, however I'm not sure what that leaves...

For goodness sake, he, like the majority today (perhaps bar Maya and Jose, possibly Clyne) had a poor game today. Please take note of the word TODAY. It doesn't mean he's given up.

Punch and Rickie marked out of the game, LaLa injured, it was time for the others to show their metal. They didn't...

I like how you have made an assumption and then judged said player of your assumption

This just needs to go down as a bad day at the office. However, this does put pressure on us getting points at Fulham and/or Stoke. Ideally we need 3 points out of one of these games.

I thought that we were fairly solid but Sunderland more so and the midfield did not get up and link with Lambert. A bit sloppy to be honest.

Wasnt impressed with Ramirez today - although it was an all round under par performance by the team, he is the superstar that is expected to rise to the occassion especially with Lallana being out. He didnt have that sparkle - although credit to Sunderland who defended really well against our attack.

See you have a bit of a striker shortage now! Cole is out for 3 games and Carroll is injured. What a shame.

Sometimes he looks lazy but I doubt he's thrown in the towel.

    Bit of a mass exaggeration...

No bookings again today, are we really not trying hard enough? Sunderland defenders took it turn to earn their bookings, particularly the one on De Ridder when he threatened to go clean through. Presumably Spider was taken off before he picked up yellow number 5?

Toys and pram mate! I rate Ramirez as our best player, think he has super skills and in a better team would look like a superstar! Just had the feeling today that he was sloppy, his work-rate was underpar and as the "Star" of the team should try and lead by example a bit more. My comment should be read in context, but then again mate I have read some of your posts and it seems as if you think you are an authority all matters football! Glenn Hoddle sydrome! lol

And if you got my post properly then you would realise I wasn't having a go at you. It's just every time he plays poor we get a thread saying **** like 'is he lazy or is he over hyped'. As for you not liking my opinions I don't really give a flying ****, to me you are just some random guy on a forum. I won't really have sleepless nights if some random doesn't agree with me, it's your opinion isn't it?.

Anyways Merry Xmas you ****er :p

I like the way you use big words without truly knowing what they mean or the syntax of the sentence in which you are trying to construct.
