As the mighty Spurs juggernaut thunders on towards glory, has Pav done enough with his one goal in our 1-0 victory over Sunderland to remain in Harry's plans, moving forward?
not really if you ask me..yes he tucked that ball away well..but i thought if you take the goal away then he was the normal pav..shooting from allover..showing a good touch...slight glimpses of a footballer but all in all far too lethargic to be starting for a team who have top 3 aspirations
He wants to be starting more often than not. I can't see that happening, so I think he'll still go. Nice leaving present, though.
He just isn't good enough to be starting, if he wants to pick up 20 odd grand a week (or watever it is) sit on the bench, score a few goals in the carling cup and agaisnt teams like wigan and sunderland then fine, I guess he is a decent 4th choice striker but i suspect he rates himself higher then that so its time to move on.
I think with a run of games he could be quite good. His work rate (in training as well as games, probably) as well as his conversion rate are just not good enough to make that happen. Chickens and eggskis really.
It's an interesting pairing between him and Adebayor though, isn't it? They're very different players.
It's interesting that Harry decided to bring Pav on when Lennon got injured, rather than either Rose or Kranjcar. Perhaps Pav has been impressing in training, recently.
Pav's an impact sub, as he has regularly demonstrated over the past few seasons. Thing is, we already have Kranjcar as a player who can tuck them away when he comes on, and he's more interested in fighting for his place than Pav is.
As we all knew at the time... http://www.not606.com/showthread.ph...ry-1898-2011?p=1886689&viewfull=1#post1886689
I'd much rather keep Pav than Defoe as I think he fits better into our system (as a straight replacement for Adebayor). However I think he's never had Harry's trust so has been on the periphery too long and lacks both confidence and motivation as a consequence so the best thing might be to sell both and get someone else in.
If Pav is executed it means we will have a better player in place. Gibbet ready Sir Harry! bring the prisoner forward. Come on Roman move it we don't have all season. What has Roman ever done for us?
Kept us in the Champion's League qualifier with Young Boys Scored the goals to get us to the 2009 Carling Cup final Relegated Birmingham single-handed

If he leaves, I reckon he'll join the Judean Liberation Front. Or perhaps the Liberation Front of Judea. Or may be the The Judean Front for Liberation.
Very clever by Harry to be honest, brings on Pav with the transfer window around the corner he scores means his transfer price goes up. Also today i read on SSN Harry apparently wants Pav to stay i don't believe for one second Pav is going to stay so all we can do really is wish him well and hope we get as much for him as possible!
I don't rate Pav but you can't take away the fact that he's hit some important goals for us at times. Admittedly I was disappointed to him come on instead of Niko (though it was a good call from Harry in the end and that's why he sits in the dugout and sit in the stands!). Pav's similar to Jenas, you can see that he has the ability to really be a match winner and top player yet they just never produce the goods on a regular basis. I wouldn't sell Pav in Jan if we don't have a replacement for him though.
What is funny is that my mate text me on Thursday saying why has harry brought Kane on, he can't score for s**t. Then he buried one. I text my that mate yesterday slagging Harry off about Pav and then he went and scored. Me and my mate are both at work now deciding who to slag off on Thursday
