Before the Fulham game, Bruce said our season started there. He highlighted the next 10 games as season shaping ones but in that, he surely meant us actually winning some didn't he? We all highlighted the next 4 with a minimum of 9 points to get us and him out of trouble. Well, the best we can get now is 7 but no one really believes it will be 7. I said after the Fulham game the best Bruce could deliver would be 5 but that included 3 against Wigan. I think we will lose at wolves and get a point v blackburn at best now, which means we will have 12 points from 15 games. Excuse after excuse has dogged aftermatch interviews for months now and I even heard him on after match interview on sky try to blame us all for making the team nervous? What a cheek. Given the utter **** we have been served up since January, I think the fans have supported and done their bit week after week and been very patient. The reason we are now pissed off and have voiced it is that we've had our fill of it. Change it or we are in trouble.
I thinks its a given that Bruce will not fall on sword, so we neeed Ellis Short to do the right thing here. I assume that Short has a number of high earning managers in his global organisation....if any of them managers fail on the scale this fat geordie bastard has..I also assume he gets rid in a heartbeat. So what is different about a football club???? come on Ellis lad, if this carries on and we get relegated, it will cost you millions.
Flanders my big concern is that in supporting Bruce, Short risks becoming part of the problem and not the solution. The situation is volatile at the moment and if the fans turn on the board then the last chance saloon will be lost. We are in danger of going from the most settled of clubs to one that is in total meltdown. That is down 100% to Bruce and his failure on the pitch for the last 10 months. There is no hope with Bruce as manager. If we change him, I still think there is a chance we could salvage something out of this season. If we don't I truly fear where our club may be in another 6 months mate.

I feel sick as I have a horrible feeling that Bruce is going to stay. If he stays too long we WILL be relegated and the ill hold Mr Short to account not just Bruce.o
