Niall has been campaigning for weeks about wanting to fill the stadium however recently every time we have had a big crowd we have played rubbish.

    Has Niall got it wrong?

Probably not. Did anyone else think the atmosphere was flat today even with a full house (and I am talking before things started to go wrong)?

Oddly enough the atmosphere seems to suffer when 8000 more people get in the stadium than usual. Admittedly they probably aren't regulars but it still seems strange that it works negatively.

Not for me, turning up to watch the game is one thing....... getting behind the team is another.

After the match our view was that it'll be some time before a good few who did turn up want to come back for that fare. If it was a restaurant and that was served up I'd have been registering a complaint to the chef!

It's one thing for Niall to ask for support and fill the SoL, but performances like that do make people think about the £30 (for the ticket alone) being VFM.

i was watching on tv, and near the end when a fair chunk off people decided enough was enough and made haste, the camera panned to quinn and short, and they both looked sick as fook. wonder what was going through their minds then. a full house served up a bag off **** and to watch hoards leave early, with some probably not going back for a while.
lets hope many keep going and mr qiunn doesn't have to talk about numbers again, safc will always have a good crowd but result bring in the missing souls

It was a crap game, with a crap atmosphere with three officials who were hell-bent on making sure that Liverpool took all three points...What I can't understand is the title of this article...I don't see how Quinn could have changed things! He works his bollocks off trying to do the best for the club, and it is the players, fans and officials who let him down.

Difficult one to answer what is best

Full house = money to club, but as every 40k plus crowd we have had this season the team have played crap perhaps we are better off with 30k plus fans who are prepared vocally to support the team

It's down to the fans and the team to create the athmosphere. The bigger the crowd and the the better the team plays, the better the athmosphere should be. I think we can do better ??
