'Boro & Birmingham appear to have serious suspicions ..... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/s...ons-Garry-Monk.html?__twitter_impression=true
Exactly, what he does or doesn't do at other clubs is no business of ours. I think he signed, while at Leeds Kemar Roofe Matt Grimes loan Rob Green Kyle Bartley loan Marcus Antonsson Hadi Sacko Alfonso Pedraza Modou Barrow Pablo Hernandez loan
I think there is no smoke without a fire I would be surprised if he ever gets another managerial offer. The agent was only responsible for Barrows loan according to Cellino
You’re correct. He was working under Cellino though and imagine he’d have kept a close eye. Having said that, the Boro owners no fool and donkeys years in the game and he seems to have been fooled allegedly of course
Based on the principle that "it takes one to know one" you would have thought that Cellino would have had it covered
Obvious that Boro's new owners are wanting revenge for past deeeds that cost them not bouncing back up to the Prem and now parachute payments ended. Makes Steve Gibson look a prat though doesn't it and why he was forced to sell 80% of his club. Gibson going after Derby for cheating and selling their ground to themselves to show a profit instead of a huge loss and avoid points deduction under FFFP rules. Also instigated an investigation into Villa for doing the same which mean both teams in the PO final were bent and shouldn't have been there. Now going after Monk for dipping into the transfer pot and brown envelopes. Even we had 4 players from Swansea who all used the same agent? Birmingham were deducted 9 points for FFFP rules cheating much of it done on Monk's watch and why he was chased out of town. The guy walked away with a minimum of £8m in salaries from 3 jobs and now looks like George Graham was a saint compared to whatever else Monk got in back handers.
Must be impossible for any club to offer Monk a job now surely. I would say his career is over....... but then again how many idiots run football clubs
Full marks to Cellino there. He wasnt everyones cup of tea but its a pity every owner wouldnt treat those bastard agents in the same way
