Just read an interesting article on the Tompkins Times...
    http://tomkinstimes.com/2011/09/kenny-dalglish-is-ruining-liverpool/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+TheTomkinsTimes+(The+Tomkins+Times)

Showing examples of journos starting to put the daggers into Kenny. I was wondering if this is anything to do with Kenny putting them in their place about Carroll's lifestyle, which really made me laugh as he didn't half belittle the press that were there. So I'm wondering if this post Stoke lashing is down to bitter hacks getting their own back??

What's this? We lost one game against a resilient side and the media are writing Kenny off? Never!

I read that Independent article, and I hope they fire the author. Pure bullshit journalism, hope he turns up to a press conference only for Kenny to rip into him or ignore him completely.

    "Journos of the world unite,
You alone can write such ****e"

It's really sad and it must be soul-destroying for them, to have to continually reproduce rubbish and speculation of very poor quality just to put food on the table.

Welcome to management in the PL 2011 Ken. The media will give you a whole new perspective on the word 'fickle'.

One minute up your arse the next scraping you off their shoe.

I think he'll manage the media without too many problems.

I doubt he'll lose too much sleep over it to be honest its not like the press are going to turn our fans against him, i think it was inevitable that he would get some stick eventually, maybe its because the media all touted Roy Hodgson as the next England manager and the best English manager around, then he ****ed up Kenny did much better once he had taken over and they were left with egg on their faces as regards Woy's credentials.

I think Kenny will actually be delighted his comments have been so widely reported and discussed by the dim witted hacks. The more negative press he gets at the moment the more he has to "stick on the wall" before a game. Anyone who knows anything about football knows that one defeat doesn't make a terrible team anymore than a few wins makes a great team. These same people were telling us Chelsea were champions elect by the end of October last year :D tools.

The way I see it, after Saturdays defeat Kenny has done a good job of getting the idiot journos focusing more on him than on the result. Kenny won't lose any sleep over this dog **** anymore than he will over Saturdays game where we didn't exactly play badly (despite what some might suggest).

It was never going to be long before Kenny started to engender the "siege mentality" which has been missing for too long at Anfield. All great managers do it. It's beginning now for us. We will see over the course of the whole season how the players respond.

Look mate, you must notice it with Alex Ferguson, one minute they are lining up to kiss his arse, as soon as Man United lose two games out of four, they are condemning him. The ones that are fickle are the journalists. They have to be the most two-faced people in society. Some ex players are just as bad, Liverpool have their fair share of their ex players that change their mind like the weather, Man United do likewise as Paul Parker has made a trade out of ''lazy reporting''. Have a look at the Yahoo search engine for some of his ludicrous reports.
    Sorry they are ludicrous.

You only have to look at their pursuit of Wenger.A man who has a fantastic record on a restrictive budget but season after season they lambast him for not winning anything.I'm no Wenger fan but the press just love to kick a man when he's down.I am sure if he had City or Chelsea's wealth then trophies would have come their way.
Kenny would just turn a blind eye to this as he has far to much know how for the gutter press.
