Has that old Swansea curse struck again or is it to early to say. I can see him returning here in the next 18 months. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/wilfried-bony-been-struck-dreaded-9008982
Typical cardiff paper talking Bollox again........Bony pulled a slight hamstring preparing for the match and has been sent to the treatment room...Bony will play many games for man city in my opinion, He is settling in better than i thought he would and will be a valuable player for them.....
I think he will work for them. But have to say he looked like a lost little boy in his first few appearances.
It all depends on Auguero. We all know that if fit, he's the number 1 striker at that club. Personally, I thought Bony would have gone to Arsenal as he'd have been an ideal fit for them. With Pellegrini looking like he'll get the axe this summer and if Auguero stays, maybe a cheeky bid could be put in for him
He has had a taste of the big time now and with his wages reported to be £100k/week before bonuses then the chances of bony ever wanting to come to a club like us again is Zero.....
Some said the same of Sinclair, Dai. Every player that has left the Swans to improve themselves, it doesn't always work. I hope it does for him, not so sure it will.
Should have gone to Liverpool or Arsenal. Man City was the last club he should have signed for. Things at that club look like they've gone belly up and a mass clear out looks on the cards, starting with the manager and the directors of football if the papers are to be believed.
Quality always shines through and Bony has real quality. He will score lots of goals for Man City I have no doubts. It's currently a settling in process for him once he's acclimatised to the demands of the club he'll be fine. He's had very little game time so far but Will kick on sooner rather than later.
I know what they're getting at but it's premature isn't it? After 8 or 9 months you could see that things weren't working for Sinclair but Bony's only been gone a few months and that includes the ACN when he was away for over a month. I don't blame him for giving it a go but he knew the risks when he went there. You have to step up to the plate quickly and he won't get the time to settle that we gave him. It's tough at the top for sure.
