Hant been on here for a while so not sure if its been discussed but it must of crossed your minds. City v Town in the play offs,or even worse the final. Now I dont know about you but I hope to God it doesnt happen because I couldnt think of any thing worse than having to endure that for 90 minutes.I'd be back on the ***s for sure. But ive got an awful feeling in the pit of my stomach that its going to happen. Anyway,I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a great Christmas and I hope your God goes with you in 2015.Cheers lads.
Plenty of time to create alternatives to that Crowey! (Like having a good run and finishing in the top 2).
I don't think my heart could take it, I'd have to lock myself in a darkened room until it was all over !
Oops a Daisy Crowey! I wouldn't worry too much about that scenario as we will both get auto promotion with Town as champions of course.
Good post crowey, you should post more often... Yeah, it has crossed my mind and for me the idea of an Ipswich/Norwich play-off final is unthinkable, the match that no set of fans could possibly bear losing, but one set would have to...the logistics of it, that many fans of both clubs all pouring into Liverpool St, total mayhem, I hope it never happens... But if it did happen, it would be the biggest local derby ever, beyond any other match between us, can you imagine the atmosphere on the day? I take on board what some of you Budgies have said about not being able to watch/listen to the match (if it ever happens), but I wouldn't miss a match like that for anything. Happy Chistmas crowey!
The match from Hell! in every respect. At least I could turn the PC off, if the game got too much to cope with. As Welly pointed out, imagine the mayhem created with the fans alone! Okay, it would not be the majority, but certainly enough for it to become something of a bloodbath
When pundits talk about the most fiercely contested derbies, the Old Farm rarely gets a mention. If that fixture was a play-off final I suspect few would be omitting it afterwards!
Yes TC, I'm afraid a tiny minority could indeed spoil what should be a fun day out for the vast majority of fans. Same when we play Ipswich which will probably be moved to 1st March.
Thanks welly, I'll let my son know, as he's a massive rugby fan and will be probably come to the game (assuming it's an early kick off) and the legging it to the pub to watch Ireland V England.
My son and I are not happy, he has started refereeing this season and has just got onto the refs list at ITFC Academy...guess when his 1st fixture is...1st March when Town Academy entertain Fulham Academy!
