Is there a local Brighton equivalent of the Pink Un? If so, has Hughton given them a pre-match interview? I imagine he'll sound a lot more positive about our players than he ever did when he was manager here.
Yes is the answer “What I do know is that they are a very good team in good form. With the form that they are in, most people are looking at them to go up automatically and they have the squad to do that.” Full article on the BHAFC website. http://www.seagulls.co.uk/news/article/chris-hughton-rise-to-the-occasion-2372815.aspx?
It´s just his way, give the opposition a false sense of security but I still wouldn´t put it past him to get a point today.
I feel that if we don't win today, it's going to put more importance on Monday's game and automatic promotion for us will rely on other teams slipping up!!!
AN said he phoned him up to wish him luck when he got appointed, he has more class than some of our supporters.
Theres no doubt Hughton was a very classy man. Always seemed open and friendly. I don't think you'll find a support on here who thinks anything but that. However, it doesn't make up for his play style or the erosion of our attacking intent over 2 years.
